The Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve provides a free climate change workshop for climate science educators, curriculum specialists, and professional development providers. The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) explicitly includes the topic of global climate change in grade bands 6–8 and 9–12.
