The Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding is partnering with WSG to offer continuing education courses in marine systems for individuals already in the industry. The courses will rely on industry-relevant mock-ups to provide hands-on practical training taught by experienced professionals. Marine Systems Intensives for industry professionals consist of 5 day classes in marine diesel engines, marine electrical, marine corrosion, and marine hydraulics. Hosted by the Shelton Skookum Rotary Club Foundation and attended by thousands, OysterFest is home to the West Coast Oyster Shucking Championships and is Washington State’s official seafood festival.
