This years conference theme is “Performing Science in Today’s Changing World” which will center on what it means to investigate scientific questions with ever changing baseline conditions. This includes everything from including Traditional Knowledge (TK) in management decisions to adding new study questions (e.g. microplastics, refractory carbon, acidification) to the overall research landscape.

Sea Safety and Survival Workshop in Gig Harbor
Learn emergency drills for commercial fishing vessels Washington Sea Grant and the Gig Harbor BoatShop at Eddon Boatyard are cosponsoring a Sea Safety and Survival (Drill Instructor) course for commercial fishermen and charter boat operators. This Coast Guard-approved course meets the training requirements of the Commercial Fishing Safety Act to conduct drills.
