The Seventh Annual River and Ocean Film Festival Postponed

The Festival will no longer be held March 28; new date forthcoming

FORKS, WA. – The Seventh Annual River and Ocean Film Festival has been postponed until further notice. It is with an abundance of caution that the festival will not be held on Friday, March 28, given the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus in our state. Festival partners wish to err on the side of caution to protect the health and wellness of the attendees by adjusting the date of the even. A new date will be forthcoming. Watch for updates at https://wsg.washington.edu/.

The River and Ocean Film Festival features short films highlighting the beauty and opportunities found on the “wet side” of the Olympic Peninsula while raising awareness of the threats facing the aquatic life and surrounding human communities. Admission is free and open to all ages; all films are family friendly.

The festival will be held at the Rainforest Arts Center at 35 North Forks Avenue, Forks, WA, once a new date is set.

The event is sponsored by the North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee, the City of Forks, Washington Sea Grant, and the North Pacific Coast Lead Entity.
