Module 2.1: Ecosystem-Based Management
The first module of Workshop 2 is focused on sharing ecosystem-based management case histories with the working group. Ecosystem-based management (EBM) is an integrated management approach that recognizes the full array of interactions within an ecosystem, including humans, rather than considering single issues, species, or ecosystem services in isolation. The presentations highlight different options for EBM collaborative organization and processes while also reflecting on challenges and lessons learned.
