The new issue of our biannual magazine is now available!

Catch up on Washington Sea Grant’s (WSG) recent research, outreach and education programs across the state through Sea Star, our biannual magazine.

The winter 2023-24 issue includes five feature stories digging into a variety of WSG’s work. This includes an article about WSG-funded research pinto abalone restoration; an article on piloting new research methods to study Salish Sea plankton; an article on NOAA Science Camp, running now for 20 years; an article exploring the WSG Hershman Fellowship and its impacts on former and current fellows; and an article looking back on the career of WSG marine operations specialist Sarah Fisken in honor of her retirement.
